Cinque terre – 5 small fishing villages that have become the pearls of the Ligurian Sea – Monterosso, Manarola, Vernazza, Corniglia (Corniglia) and Riomaggiore, perched on the cliffs on the sea shore. The villages offer excellent cuisine and the special wine Sciacchetrà, made with delayed fermentation of the grapes.
Overall, Cinque Terre is a fantastic place for a holiday and thanks to the Way of the Lovers it is also recognized as one of the most romantic spots in the country.
