The tour includes the richest collection of the Renaissance era and a significant part of the collection of the dynasty that ruled almost entire Europe – the Medici.
We’ll explore the Giotto era, the early Renaissance with Masaccio, Filippo Lippi, Piero della Francesca, Botticelli’s masterpieces with the beautiful Venus and Spring,
take a glimpse of Ponte Vecchio, immerse ourselves in the art of Leonardo da Vinci, compare Raphaello and Michelangelo, and take photos on the palace terrace, where Buontalenti held banquets for the Medici
and descending to the first floor we will see the Venetian art of Tiziano and Tintoretto. Heading to the last corridor we will take delight in the super realism of Caravaggio and Artemisia Gentileschi.
Finally, we will see the great Flemish artists Pietro Paolo Rubens, Rembrandt and Antonio van Dyck, and the last hall bids us farewell with Leopoldo de’ Medici – one of the most prominent connoisseurs among the great bankers.
